What tracks (active & inactive) are recognized?
Active tracks include Beaver Dam Raceway, Chilton / Gravity Park, Dodge County Fairgrounds (near Beaver Dam), Jefferson, Milwaukee Mile, Plymouth, Slinger, Wilmot. *INACTIVE/GHOST TRACKS include Calumet County Fairgrounds, Cedarburg, Columbus, Hales Corners, Lake Geneva, Manitowoc, Oshkosh Speedzone, Waukegan, Wisconsin State Fair Park Dirt Track.
How are the nominees selected?
The Hall Of Fame Nomination Committee, separate from the board of directors, will look through the forms and pick 10-12 nominees to be voted on by the public (you). As this nomination recommendation is not a voting process, it does not matter how many times a person is nominated. Use this time to be creative with your nominations. Voting for the Class of 2024 will open July 1st- July 12th.
How does voting work?
Upon review of the all submissions, the anonymous nominating committee will provide a provisonal list to the HOF board of directors which will vote on the final list of nominations. Nomination for induction into the Hall of Fame will be voted on by 1) the prvious inductees to the HOF and 2) the interested racing community via A)an online ballot or B) a paper ballot available upon request.
